Coleus (Coleus Fairway Ruby) - This red foliage adds lovely color to the landscape. Commonly called Painted Nettle, these annuals can be grown from seeds. This variety grows to about 10 inches in height, and it has larger leaves than many Coleus plants have, creating a wonderful exotic effect in shade gardens. How to Grow Coleus Seeds: It is suggested to grow the seeds indoors 6 - 8 weeks before the last frost is expected. The flower seeds need to be pressed into the soil but not covered.
